It gets better…much better.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9

It gets better, fellow Christian. It gets SO MUCH better.

Christianity isn’t an unknown prospect or a mysterious journey. Thanks to God’s Word, no Christian has to wonder where they end up after death.

God told us what the end of this world was going to look like…and as an added bonus, He told us some of the things to come in the next world. God hasn’t allowed us to know everything about the afterlife, but He’s allowed us to know enough.

This verse should spark our imagination and paint great pictures in our minds, giving us hope for the future and that “extended vacation” that God has prepared for those who love Him.

In 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, God allowed Paul to see a glimpse of heaven, and he reported back to the church at Corinth that it is absolutely phenomenal.

The most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen or experienced will never compare to the beauty that God has waiting for us in heaven.

The most moving music you’ve ever heard pales in comparison to the sounds of your heavenly home.

Your greatest desires for the things of earth will mean nothing when you experience the joy and glory of heaven one day.

The most important person in your life today will take second place when you come face to face with the Savior of mankind. It’s the Lord Jesus Christ who has prepared heaven to share with US, and He wants us to bring as many people to heaven as possible. So, we share the Gospel.

If you’ve been saved by faith in Jesus Christ, then thank God in advance today for what you have coming. Thank God for the hell that He saved you from.

It gets far better than this old world. Don’t let the trials of the flesh and the world get you down. God will make it worth your while if you love and serve Him. The best is yet to come.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

Until then, keep your armor on.
