“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
Isaiah 40:29
A car that sloooowly cranks over.
A flashlight that barely shines.
What do these things need?
More power. They’ve grown faint.
We all have times in our life where we grow faint and weak. The trials of life can get wearisome.
So where do you turn when your spiritual, physical, or emotional “battery” has lost its charge?
Go to God. He gives power to the faint.
God wants to provide you with the physical, emotional, and spiritual power that you need.
He wants your sputtering spiritual engine to roar to life with an infusion of His power.
He wants the dim areas of your life to become a bright and shining testimony with a surge of His power.
Go to God. Go directly to God.
Do not delay. Seek Him today.
“Lord, please give me power when I’m faint today. Please give me strength where I have no might today.
Lord, please give me Holy Spirit power that allows me to accomplish all that you desire today as I step into the battlefield of life.
Please empower me with your Word of Truth to combat every lie that comes against me.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”
Remember, your role in life is to perform your God-given role in life. The devil wants to drain your energy and power so that you can’t fulfill your role. (1 Peter 5:8)
Stay empowered in a draining world.
Stay in prayer and stay in the Word.
Keep your armor on.
