Sin is all around us.
You see it. I see it.
We do wrong over and over.
We sin, we repent, we get right.
We sin, we repent, we get right.
Wash. Rinse. Get dirty. Repeat.
I’m quite tired of it, how about you?
Imagine living in this world without sin.
Is that even possible? Let’s try to imagine such a world.
There would be no liars.
Ready for that? Honest politicians!
Honest mechanics! Honest salesmen!
Honest bankers! Honest relationships!
That would honestly be great.
There would be no thieves.
Leave your doors unlocked all night long. Leave your stuff unattended. Find your wallet or purse where you dropped it in the busy parking lot. Walk down dark alleyways at 3:00 a.m. without concern…no thieves!
There would be no cheating.
Every tax dollar would be used as intended. Every sport and game would be played fair and square. Every politician would be elected fair and square. The phone call scammers that bother us would have real jobs.
That’s just a few examples of life without sin. There are many more because we have been born into a sin-filled and sin-fueled world.
Consider how things will be during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
Consider how things will be in heaven for all of eternity.
It will be worth it, dear Christian.
Keep fighting your sin.
The battles are hard, but the war is won. Christ won the war.
Appropriate His victory as you fight your flesh and the devil.
The best is yet to come!
