Spiritually Prepped?

“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Psalm 119:11

Do you have a favorite Bible verse?
It’s probably one that gives you encouragement in the midst of trials.
It may be one that reaffirms the presence of God in the midst of an ungodly world.
Perhaps it’s a verse that refocuses your mind and thoughts on Godly things rather than worldly things.

Your favorite verse may be one that reminds you of:
God’s power when you’re powerless,
God’s strength when you’re weak,
God’s wisdom when you’re unsure,
God’s love when you’re discouraged,
God’s compassion when you’re sick,
God’s presence when you’re alone.

There’s AT LEAST ONE verse for every situation of life.
But we shouldn’t just have ONE favorite verse, we should have a verse ready for EVERY situation in life.
Each morning I ask God to give me verses as I need them throughout the day…and He does.

If your heart and mind are built on the Word, then the world will fail to shake you and break you.

You stock your shelves with goods and make your earthly preps, but how much Bible is stockpiled in your heart?

You might be locked and loaded for bear, but are you locked and loaded with Truth for the spiritual battles of life?

When God’s Word is read with your eyes, heard with your ears, lodged in your heart, and flowing from your lips…it will keep you from sin.

Stay Bible-prepped and ready.

Keep your armor on.
