“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5
I know a lot of people that I can trust…
but there are different kinds of trust.
I can trust that some people will always greet me with a friendly smile.
I can trust some people to be there when they say they will.
There are a few people I trust to be there if I call at 3 a.m. with an emergency.
I trust some people to listen and keep things confidential.
I trust some people to be patient.
There are many people you trust in many different ways, but none can compare to the trust you can have in God.
You CAN trust Him today.
Maybe you DO trust Him…but if your lips are speaking complaints, discontentment, fear, doubt, or unbelief…
then your trust has some holes.
That’s all of us. This verse was written to every believer because God knows that we all struggle with trusting Him at times.
The news might get heavy.
Trust the LORD’s good news.
Your body will wear down and out.
Trust in the LORD’s strength.
Your finances may get tighter.
Trust in the LORD’s providence.
Your nation may be crumbling.
Trust the LORD’s firm foundation.
Your leaders may be wicked.
Pray for them and trust Him.
The devil may seem to be winning.
Trust the LORD who conquered evil.
YOUR understanding is finite and often unreliable because it’s largely based on what you can see and comprehend.
GOD’S understanding is infinite and based on the complete picture of EVERYTHING past, present, and future.
Only trust Him.
He doesn’t need your help running things…He only wants you to do your part and trust that He knows what to do in your life.
Keep your armor on today.

I really appreciate this devotional message…just what I needed to hear for today! Thank you…🙏😊
