Tired of Toddlers

“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16

What is peace?
It’s the absence of strife.
The strife we see in the world today has its roots in preschool.

Kids in preschool have a problem called selfishness that they don’t know how to control. That selfishness is manifested when they scream a four-letter word:
“MINE!”

Every person, home, state, or country that is experiencing strife probably has leaders that are saturated in selfishness.

And their selfishness wasn’t nipped in the bud by their teachers and parents…and if it was, they got off track somewhere along the line.

Strife is rooted in selfishness.
Toddlers are rooted in selfishness.

1 “From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
James 4:1-3

Many immature toddlers are running nations of the world.
I don’t want toddlers running the world…and I certainly don’t want them armed with nuclear weapons as they “act out” in their tantrums against each other while screaming “MINE! MINE!”

Pray that some steady, discerning, spiritually mature adults step in to take the wheel.
Pray for peace to prevail in the midst of so much chaos.

May the forces of darkness and evil have a TERRIBLE day today.
And may the sons and daughters of the living God experience peace which surpasses understanding. (Philippians 4:7)

Keep your armor on.
