Are You Happy Today?

“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:”
Psalm 146:5

I’m happy today!
I have a God who loves me and desires to lead me safely home to heaven.
I have a God who comforts me when the trials of life become too much to bear.

I have a Savior who stepped into this broken, sinful world to suffer the death that I deserve for my sinfulness…and the same Savior offered me the gift of eternal life which I don’t deserve.
I have a Book that outlines the mind of God and every promise of His that is mine to claim.

I have a friend that sticks closer than a brother...his name is Jesus Christ.
I have a Pastor devoted to God’s Word and church friends who are my family in Christ.

Are you happy today?
Does the God of Jacob make you glad?
I hope that today will be filled with rejoicing for every believer in Jesus Christ.

Christians shouldn’t walk around looking like a bunch of miserable people all “beat up from the feet up”.
The world should see us often wearing the face of rejoicing, then they should desire to have Who we have!

It’s a great day to be happy in Jesus.
