“For there is no respect of persons with God.”
Romans 2:11
There are no “apple polishers” in heaven.
In other words, there are no popular people or “cliques” in the kingdom of God.
There aren’t groups of cool people, rich people, important people, or favorite people in Gods kingdom.
In heaven, every soul counts the same.
Schools have cliques.
Workplaces have cliques.
Even churches have cliques…
They shouldn’t, but they do.
Poor people, disabled people, quiet people, elderly people…
Too often these are the people who are overlooked, ignored, forgotten, and not included in certain group activities.
Isn’t that sad?
Did you notice that those are the people that Jesus ministered to the most?
He sought the broken, lonely, poor outcasts of society and showed them all how loving, kind, and good God is. What a Savior!
Remember that today.
You aren’t an outcast in Gods eyes, you’re exactly the one He came to save.
By the same token, you’re not more important than any other person you’ll encounter today.
The ground is quite level at the foot of the cross, and Jesus Christ is the only one who should ever be exalted.
Keep your armor on.
