“We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.”
Romans 15:1
Sometimes I feel really strong in my faith.
At those times I boldly speak, boldly pray, boldly praise, and boldly walk in faith.
I love those times…and I wish I could always live there.
So, what gets in the way of us ALWAYS living on the mountaintop of faith?
The flesh. It tempts us, weakens us, distracts us, and discourages us…when we choose to let it.
And at those times when we’re filled with fear, doubt, or unbelief along comes a fellow believer to call down from the mountaintop.
They encourage us to climb UP out of our valley and head for higher ground with greater faith.
They wrap an arm around us and help us to find our footing during those “rocky path trials” of life.
Have you ever been encouraged by a strong Christian when you were struggling in life?
Pay that forward.
Encourage someone who is struggling today. Share the WORD of God and let them know that you care about their trials and so does God. (1 Peter 5:7)
I can almost guarantee that if you do that, God will see fit to send someone to YOU when YOUR trial gets really heavy.
Keep your armor on.
