“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
Isaiah 6:3
As I was praying on the way to work one day, these words left my lips…
“Lord, I pray that today you will be glorified in all the Earth…”
God being glorified in all the Earth is a nice thought…but it’s not going to happen today.
God’s people will glorify Him to a degree today, but the rest of humanity will continue to ignore the Truth about Christ and their need for salvation through Him alone. Rather than seek God and make decisions about eternity, too many stick their heads in the sand and remain willingly ignorant.
The Muslims will continue worshipping their false god Allah and honoring their false prophet Mohammed.
The Hindus will continue to worship their Brahman idols and try to live more pure lives in order to reincarnate into higher beings.
Scientologists will continue to believe that “Man is basically good, that he is seeking to survive, (and) that his survival depends on himself and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe.”
Atheists will continue to deny the existence of God, even though the world around them (and their own conscience) screams of an intelligent designer.
Agnostics will continue to believe that it’s impossible to know if there is a God or not.
Hedonists will continue to pursue personal pleasure today.
And meanwhile, as humanity is driving blind on 10,000 highways of idolatry, there is serious worship happening in heaven.
Read what John wrote in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, 700 years AFTER Isaiah saw the vision:
“And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
Revelation 4:8
See the similarity?
Same vision.
Same seraphim.
One day the proclamation of “The One Holy God” will reach everyone…and false religions will evaporate and vanish.
And one day everyone will understand that there is only one God, and Jesus Christ is His son.
