Smokin’ Praise

“And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.”
Isaiah 6:4

I’m not the smartest fella, but if I shout praises in my house and the doors start moving, and smoke fills the place…I’d have to believe I reached a new level of worship.

When it happened in heaven like Isaiah saw, it was a sign of great power on display…power on a “whole ‘nother level.”

Why did such power manifest?
What was the catalyst?

It was the cry of praise and proclamation of truth as seen in the previous verse:

“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.”
Isaiah 6:3

Praise is powerful.
Truth is eternal.

Proclaiming truth and praising the Lord is a dynamite combo.

If the angels in heaven are praising and proclaiming, and it’s filling the place with smoke and shaking doors off the hinges…
I think we should probably do the same.

What will you praise God for today?
Whatever it is, God is pleased to hear you lift up high praises to Him. (Psalm 150)
Just make sure you’re loud enough for the devil to hear you, too.
Rattle his hinges and blow the smoke of praise in his face.

Praise God today!
