Two things we need today…

“The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.”
Psalm 29:11

Strength and peace.
We need both of those things today.

I don’t know anybody who wakes up in the morning and says, “I think I’d like to enjoy some weakness and stress today.
I’m looking to be really miserable.”

Instead, many times we wake up and hope for the best:
The most peace we can find.
The most strength we can muster.

Do you ask God for peace and strength everyday? If not, you should.
Because He will give you an abundance of peace to overcome trials and chaos…
and He will give you enough strength to be a soldier for righteousness and Jesus Christ.

“Lord, today will have many trials.
I’m asking you to give me an abundance of physical and emotional strength to handle my trials well.
(Isaiah 41:10)
I’m also asking for the peace of God which passes understanding. (Philippians 4:7)
You said that you would keep me in perfect peace if my mind is stayed on you. I want the Holy Spirit to have free course to direct my thoughts toward Christ and His righteousness.
(Isaiah 26:3)

Please help me to meditate on your Word and focus on Christ today.
I believe that you want me to be strong and confident in You today.
I ask these things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”

Stay strong and live in peace:

His strength. His peace.
