The Establishment: Part One

“Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.”
Psalm 7:9

Society has become a moral sewer. I never thought people would get so cold, violent, and vicious.

We are living in days of pure wickedness.
There are a lot of things I could point a finger at as reasons WHY things are so violent and vicious…but I’m not going to do that.

Instead, I want to emphasize the importance of “the establishment of the just”.

You hear that word “establishment” as negative all of the time.
The establishment as we know it is a combination of corporate, political, military, and media interests that rule and run the nations.

The establishment hasn’t served God, Jesus Christ, or humanity…it has served itself in order to maintain power and rule over people.

As a result, wickedness has not been addressed properly…it has been allowed to fester, multiply, and metastasize into a violent cancer in society.

Beatings, stabbings, shootings, rape, murder, theft, and racial attacks…
This is all wicked.

And only a wicked establishment would allow it to continue.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
Proverbs 29:2

The answer to societal wickedness is to establish a righteous governing body.

The way to establish a righteous governing body is to elect and appoint righteous people.

The righteous people fit for leadership are those who recognize God as the Supreme Creator and His Word as the final authority.

Unless we get God-fearing men and women into positions of local, state, and national leadership, we will not see the established wickedness change.

“Heavenly Father, please raise up a bold set of leaders who love you and seek to serve you in righteousness.
Please establish righteousness in my nation so that the wickedness of the wicked will end.
Arise, Lord, and let your enemies be SOON SCATTERED in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.”
