“And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.”
Psalm 55:6
Are you weary?
In many ways, I am.
We’re human, and humans get tired…
it’s okay to get tired and weary with the trials of this life.
But we must learn to pray and not quit. Quitting is not an option for Christians.
I could list a whole bunch of things that have me “straight fed up.”
I’ve looked at other countries as a possible destination to move to, because my country is run by corrupt lunatics.
But running isn’t an option.
At least not for me.
I am where I am today to make a difference for the Lord, and by His grace I’m going to finish strong for Him.
Is there trouble in your life that has you wanting to just “run away from it all”?
That pressure to run away is far different from God leading you somewhere to be useful for Him.
God leads us, but Satan drives us.
Don’t let the devil drive you around the world with the false promise that happiness and contentment is just down the road somewhere else.
Wrong. Contentment is internal.
“But godliness with contentment
is great gain.”
1 Timothy 6:6
Instead of running away from a problem, take a breath, grab a hot beverage, and work the problem out with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures.
Only move when and where
He tells you to go. God allows our trials, and He wants to lead us through them for His honor and glory.
