“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Hebrews 11:3
I believe the story of creation as found in the book of Genesis.
I believe that God made all that we see and know in this physical realm in six literal days. (Exodus 20:11)
You may not believe that, but I do.
I believe the Bible to be true.
I believe that God has preserved His Word and the truth about Himself and His creation.
I believe that God spoke creation into existence, except for man, whom He “formed from the dust of the ground.” (Genesis 2:7)
Can I prove these things? No.
I believe them by faith.
The God that I worship isn’t limited by the things which limit me:
He has no weakness.
He needs no work crew.
He doesn’t get tired…ever.
He understands all things.
He exists outside of this realm.
He can speak things into existence…outside of time, space, and matter.
I once heard someone say, “If God was only able to do those things which we can do, He wouldn’t be God and certainly wouldn’t be worth worshipping.”
Scientific men are attempting to deconstruct and pervert God’s creation so that they can “analyze and understand our origins”, but at the end of the day all that happens is destruction and manipulation of God’s design.
Men can never create life, they can only manipulate what God has already made. We live in the age of genetically modified plant seeds, human-animal hybrids, and the merging of man and machine into a form of techno-human. None of this will end well, but will only lead to more disease and death.
God will have to intervene and ultimately end the “mad science” once and for all.
We’d be far better served if scientists would honor and glorify God as they study His creation…but instead we find them “professing themselves to be wise and becoming fools”…and “worshipping the creation more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.” (Romans 1:22, 25)
Not all science is bad, but science without God is mad science.
God made all that we see.
He spoke it into existence.
Be amazed at His handiwork!
He’s worthy of our worship!
