Happy Thanksgiving Day!
This has been a trying year for all of us. The world has become an emotional rollercoaster ride, and life has thrown us some curveballs.
Things have happened this year that I never expected. Relationships have taken strange turns. Loved ones have passed on to glory. My body has surprised me with new weaknesses.
I could list the good things that God has done this year, and they far outweigh the trials. And in all honesty, even the trials are good for us when God is in them.
God hasn’t lost His grip on the world, and you can be sure He’ll never be found nervously chewing His fingernails.
Consider the blessings you’ve experienced this year.
Consider the new things you’ve learned this year.
Consider the battles that you have fought or are currently fighting.
Consider that God will never leave nor forsake you.
He is with us and aware of us today.
Let’s give thanks for specific things today, and let God know how much we appreciate Him.
I hope that you have a very Happy Thanksgiving, whether you’re with family, or simply enjoying sweet fellowship in prayer with the Lord!
