His Promises: Part Eight

Puffy white clouds, and bright blue skies, Warm spring rains making flowers arise.

The hummingbird dashes and buzzes around, and fluffy-tailed squirrels gather nuts on the ground.

Little green frogs hit the pond with a splash, and silvery minnows swim off in a flash.

Paddling ducks come ashore with a shake, their ducklings still churning along in their wake.

Soon the day’s ending with firefly lights, their silent green flashes a marvelous sight.

A beautiful sunset turns water to gold, my Father has palettes of colors so bold.

Why seek all the riches, and fortunes, and fame? It’s enough the Creator has called me by name!

Content in His Word and awed by His might, He’ll lead me through darkness with powerful Light!

Oh, what a promise, the Creator is near! The One who made nature is watching me here!

Christians, He’ll never leave you, forsake you, or stop loving you! That’s worth more than all of the riches in the world!

  1. what a beautiful devotional poem Eric, thank you for brightening my day with it. It surely is the most awesome thought that our Father God has promised to never leave or forsake us; one worth remembering in the midst of life’s storms. God bless you today brother 🙏
