Attention Satan: God is Always Good

“The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”
Psalm 103:8

God is a GOOD God.

The devil knows how good God really is, but he plays the “blame game” all the time anyway…launching fiery darts of doubt at our minds:

“If God is so good, then why are you sick?”

“If God is so good, then why are you in pain?”

“If God is so good, then why did your loved one die?”

“If God is so good, why do you struggle financially?”

Sound familiar?
The tempter at work.
And sooner or later we all fall for his nonsense…the reason is because we will never be able to perfectly balance a spiritual, Christian life with the flesh.

Your flesh is weaker than your faith in God.
It has needs and desires that have to be kept in check…otherwise your eyes become focused on earthly things which carry the weight of brokenness and sin.

And then we forget God:
His mercy.
His grace.
His patience.
His goodness.

So, when the enemy bombards your thoughts with doubt, fear, or unbelief…the best thing you can do is speak the Word right back to him.

Resist him with the Word.
And understand that Satan wants to ruin your faith and trust in God because he will never experience God’s mercy, grace, or goodness.

The only grace the devil is experiencing right now is the Lord not smashing him into oblivion…but that hammer WILL eventually fall.

Satan is doomed.
The redeemed are blessed.
And God is always only good.
