On Saturday, July 13th, former President Donald Trump dodged a bullet.
At a certain point in his Pennsylvania rally speech, Trump turned his head to read from a large screen to his right…and that’s when a high-velocity rifle bullet nicked his ear as it whizzed past his head.
Had he not turned his head, he would have been killed. I believe that the death of President Trump would have thrust America into a chaotic mess, and possibly even a bloody civil war.
In short, I believe that Trump, America, and the world dodged a bullet, and that God spared all of us from witnessing a traumatic assassination on live television. We almost lived through another Zapruder film.
The Bible shows that God can calm storms, make the sun stand still, part the Red Sea, defeat vast armies, and slay giants…so naturally He is able to deflect bullets as they’re fired toward people.
I’m praying that Mr. Trump seeks the Lord at this time, and draws closer to God than He ever has before…and judging by his Truth Social statement, there is definite awareness of God’s divine intervention:
“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers yesterday, as it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening…”
God speed in your recovery, Mr. Trump, and may God help our country to unite as Americans against violence despite our political differences.
Trump was spared by God for a reason…and I believe it will be for something great in the future. God is not done with America yet.

I believe you’re right, Eric. God has a plan and, apparently, both Trump and Biden are in His plan. It’s a miracle that Trump survived an assassination attempt and it’s amazing that Biden is still President considering his physical and mental deficiencies.

It all feels so surreal. When my wife called me into the kitchen and I saw Trump being hauled away bleeding by Secret Service, I had a peace that he would be fine.
And then I saw what actually happened, and I knew that God had spared his life.
We’re living through history! Praying for God to show up in a big way for those who need hope at this time.🙏
