Wonderfully Made

Christian soldiers can’t stand strong in the spiritual fight unless they first understand that they are wonderfully made by God Himself.

One of our greatest battles is allowing our physical flaws, emotional wounds, and personal weaknesses to define us. The devil loves to whisper lies that magnify what we lack and minimize what God has declared true. He knows that a believer who doubts their worth will never fight with confidence.
But faith rewires the way we see ourselves. We walk not by sight, but by faith—and faith declares what God has already spoken: you are wonderfully made. That means every part of you was designed intentionally, with purpose and care.

God didn’t make a mistake when He formed you. He shaped your appearance, personality, and abilities with His glory in mind. The enemy points out imperfections to bring shame, but God points to His workmanship to bring praise.

Every person you see today, including yourself, carries divine fingerprints. You are not an accident or an afterthought; you are God’s masterpiece. The question is, will you believe that truth? Will you let your imperfections define you, or will you instead look to your perfect Creator who made you in His image and for His glory?

When David wrote Psalm 139, he began with praise, acknowledged his worth in God’s eyes, and ended with assurance—he knew he was wonderfully made. Let that same truth take root in your soul today. You are not broken beyond repair or lacking in value; you are the handiwork of the Almighty, wonderfully made and perfectly equipped to live for His purpose.

  1. Yes! We are fearfully and wonderfully made, and the enemy of our souls wants us to forget this. 🙏 Each day, may we write God’s name on our hearts! Thanks for sharing such an important reminder, Brother Eric. God Bless!

    1. Amen, Nancy! The devil would love us to buy the lie that we all came from nothing but rocks…and though many are dumb as rocks, I’m thankful that God has given us ample reason to praise Him for the evidences of His creation are all around us! Have a blessed day!
