The World Needs Christ…Right Now!

I didn’t sleep well last night. I should have…I have all that I need that pertains to life and Godliness. I’m basically healthy and not mortally wounded.

But I didn’t sleep well because the world and its leaders have lost their minds. We are driving toward a disaster of epic proportions because of pride, greed, blackmail, debt, and corruption…all things that the devil is using to destroy humanity.

Resurrection Sunday started with my President cursing and praising Allah…that’s a sure sign that he needs Jesus Christ in His heart and life. I truly want my American leaders and nation to be successful, but only for what is just, fair, and righteous. I fear we’ve lost our humanity, and we desperately need a revival of basic morality and decorum.

God looks at each of us and sees the potential…what we can be, and what we should be according to His purpose. We’re living in a world that is changing rapidly, and a crossroads is starkly before us.

The tomb is empty, the Lord is risen for over 2,000 years, and new life is available through the power of God and salvation through Christ. We sang about that today in church, heard the gospel preached (thundered) from our pulpit, and saw our church packed out. It was a glorious service glorifying our risen Lord!

I’m realizing more everyday that this world will never be home or heaven on Earth. The wars, profanity, sin, and corruption will continue and sadly get worse. The world needs transformation through the gospel of Jesus Christ like never before! If you’re getting discouraged over this war and other calamities in the world, please join me in prayer today for cooler heads to prevail…and that the Holy Spirit would get ahold of “carnal hearts in high places”.

Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday! God still hears and answers the prayers of His people…but we must PRAY.

  1. This is very true Eric; we look at the reality of redemption in Christ’s Resurrection and we look at the contrast of the world we live in, and particularly our leaders – we all need Christ! It is a matter of great urgency as the end draws near, after which it will be too late for many. There can not be a more serious need for intercession than these circumstances. God bless you and your family today brother 🙏
