The One Who Made the Sun

“Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?”
Job 13:11

Have you ever thought about God so much you got a little nervous?
The signs of His power are all around us…consider the sun.

The sun is a gigantic flaming ball that perfectly heats the earth, gives light, and nourishes life.
Nobody went to Sears and bought it.
Nobody made it to sell on Etsy.
God made the sun and never got burned by it.
The God that made the sun shines brighter than the sun.

God set the sun to continuously burn in the vacuum of space.
There is no fuel truck parked next to the sun to keep it burning.

The sun is burning hydrogen, in a nuclear reaction, at a perfect rate to sustain life on earth.
Why doesn’t it all just burn up at once in a massive explosion?

Could the same genius who made and maintains the (nuclear reactor) sun know everything that’s happening on planet earth?
Could that same God know everything I have ever said, done, or thought?

Absolutely.

THIS God:
“Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.”
Psalm 33:8-9

Is also THIS God:
“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
Proverbs 15:3

God knows everything…His wisdom is unmatched.

God made everything…His power is undeniable.

God sees everything…His vision is unhindered.
