Reaching the Nations

A couple of years ago, I was scrolling through the statistics on my WordPress blog when I discovered a map showing the countries where people had viewed my posts. I was thrilled to see that my words had reached people around the world. Most views came from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, but as I worked my way down the list, I discovered visitors from Pakistan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and dozens of other nations.

How humbling!

Last night, I looked again. The 2026 statistics revealed something that absolutely amazed me: China was the third most-viewed nation, and Hong Kong was fourth. How incredible!

So this message is especially for anyone reading in a nation where Christianity is restricted or where following Jesus can be costly: keep the faith!

If Jesus Christ is your Savior and you love His Word, continue steadfastly in Him. You are a light shining in a dark place. You carry a flame of love, truth, and life that cannot ultimately be extinguished by the words or actions of people.

I pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully throughout nations where the Gospel is restricted. May the Lord Jesus Christ reveal His glory, break chains of darkness, and use His Word to transform hearts and lives.

And let us pray the same for America. Mine is a nation that has forgotten God and embraced every other idol known to man…and our leaders need Christ. May we remember that every earthly leader is merely human, while God alone is the Lord God Almighty. May His people have courage to stand faithfully, love boldly, and proclaim His truth.

Wherever you are reading this today, lift the nations before God in prayer.

The Gospel IS reaching the nations.

And praise the Lord—nothing can stop His Word!
