Enticement is a personal thing.
If I’m planning to entice somebody, then that means I know exactly what they like and what they want.
That means I had to study that person and learn their habits.
Would it surprise you to learn that the demonic realm has been studying humanity since the fall of man, and they have become experts at enticement?
Would it surprise you to learn that spiritual warfare is really that personal? It is.
Satan knows which carrots of sin to dangle in front of your little, gullible nose. He knows what your besetting sin is…do you know what it is?
Very simple question today:
What are you doing TODAY to make sure that no evil enticements make their way into your life, your speech, and your actions?
Answer: The sins you struggle with should be taken before God.
Ask Him to give you strength to say “NO” to those temptations.
Find Bible verses which address that sin and memorize them. Rehearse them. Rehearse the names of God and declare victory over that sin in Jesus’ name.
Find an accountability partner who can support and encourage you in fighting temptation.
Two shields of faith are better than one. Amen?
Resist the devil and everything he dangles in front of you. Submit to God and tell Satan to get lost…
and he will flee FROM YOU!
