āWhen Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.ā
John 8:10-11
Alone with Jesus.
Thereās no better place to be.
The Phariseeās brought this adulterous woman to Jesus for Him to condemn her with the law.
But Jesus was only packinā compassion.
Hereās a tip: If you want to really nail someone for their crimes, sins, and evil deedsā¦DONāT BRING THEM TO JESUS!
Bring them to other people for judgment, insults, and condemnation.
āFor God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.ā
John 3:17
Jesus looks up after he pops the Phariseeās balloonsā¦and only the woman is left. He tells her that He doesnāt condemn herā¦and then He tells her to go (mercy) and sin no more (correction).
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
I donāt know if she changed her ways, but I sure hope she did.
And if weāve received His grace and mercy then we should change our ways also.
It’s a good day to walk in the victory of Jesus Christ, and a great day to go and sin no more.
Have a great weekend, friends!

Our confidence can only be found in Jesus, our Redeemer; the world condemns us but He does not…hallelujah! This has been an excellent series brother. God bless you today š

Thank you for your encouragement, Nancy! I like when a Bible story has 5-10 verses, it helps to break it down evenlyā¦and I seem to catch more when I chew on sections of a storyā¦kind of like a nice, multi-layered sandwich.šš
