This is one of those verses that is full of multiple promises. I love it so much that I rehearse it when life gets tumultuous. This verse promises the presence of my great God! Look at these five precious promises from Isaiah 41:10…
“I am with you” – My God is scared of nothing and nobody. Whatever situation hits my life, I rest assured that God won’t leave me when the going gets tough. I know that He is with me because the Holy Spirit is alive within me:
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17
“I am your God” – In a world full of “deadbeat Dads”, I’m so thankful that my Heavenly Father is present and claims responsibility for my life. He wants to be my Father, provide for me, and He wants me to acknowledge Him openly as God.
“I will strengthen you” – You can only strengthen something that is weak. How many times has God found me relying on human efforts and barely holding my life together? Too many to count…and after I’ve called on Him to strengthen me, I’ve realized that it’s only Him holding my life together. When trouble comes, He will strengthen us for that day.
“I will help you” – Picture a baby learning to walk. With wobbly legs they stagger forward, stiff-legged and unsure of themselves. They repeatedly crash and burn. Now enter the parent, who extends two hands for that baby to grasp. Clinging to those guiding hands, the child can move forward with stability, grinning and loving this newfound freedom to move. That’s what God does. He doesn’t carry us, He helps us move forward with confidence in Him.
“I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” – I’ve seen hurricane force winds batter a stop sign. The wind does everything it can to twist, shake, rattle, and bend that stop sign. In the aftermath of fierce winds, many a stop sign has remained firmly fixed to its metal pole in the midst of great destruction. God promises to uphold us like that when the world, the flesh, and the devil assail us. I rejoice in God’s sustaining power against all comers.
May God fill your heart and life with the promises of Isaiah 41:10 today!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful encouragement today Eric. God bless you today brother 🙏

You are so right, Nancy! I spent time writing this, published it, then realized I didn’t even really mention the first word: FEAR.😧
Thankfully you perfectly explained it here…and I’m thankful for Gods exchange program.
He gives me faith and takes my fear.😊
Have a great day, Nancy!
