“Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.”
Psalm 4:5
Have you ever tried to find a gift for someone who didn’t need anything?
Or have you ever bought a gift for someone and when they opened it you knew they didn’t like it and would never use it?
That’s always awkward.
What do you give to the One who has everything?
What do we give to God?
What God wants more than anything else is our TRUST.
Trust includes our faith, our obedience, our dependency, our gratitude, our hope, and our confidence in Him.
What does God want to see in us on a daily basis as we trust Him?
He wants to see his children live righteous lives.
He wants us to be a righteous example to a fallen world so that we represent Him well.
As my Pastor says, “When people view our lives, they should come to the right conclusion about who God is and what He’s like.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Love you all, hope that you each have a blessed weekend in the Lord!
Thank you for this precious post worthy of meditation, especially the quote from your pastor. I have spoken in past sermons that we should reflect “the family likeness as God’s children.”
God bless you richly today brother 🙏

After reading your blog I’m reminded of the Mother’s Days when my children were little and they’d ask me what I wanted. I’d answer, “I want you to love one another and get along!”

That’s a perfect Mom response, Nancy! My Mom would often say similar things…I think that good Moms have a higher desire to see their kids turn out well, that is the best gift and a good “return on their investment.”😄
Thanks for your comment!
